Getting started with Tovie Data Agent
Tovie Data Agent by Tovie AI is a powerful knowledge management tool that helps you organize and employ knowledge effectively. It’s more than just a repository of information. With Tovie Data Agent, you can create smart chatbots, automate answers to frequently asked questions and significantly improve the level of service for your customers and employees.

Step 1. Sign up
Sign up at Tovie Data Agent. If you have previously used other Tovie AI products, you can use your existing account to sign in.
Step 2. Create a project and load data
Create your first project and upload data to Tovie Data Agent. Use file formats: PDF, DOCX, TXT, XML, JSON, YAML, MD, MDX, HTML.
If you store your knowledge in Confluence, you can set up integration with it to download data automatically.
Step 3 Index knowledge base
Start indexing the knowledge base on the downloaded data. Indexing may take a while. You can track the progress in the UI. After that, your Tovie Data Agent is ready to serve.
Step 4. Test
Go to the Chat tab to test your knowledge base. Try different queries to make sure that answers are correct and relevant. You can tune settings of search and response generation right in your chat window. Make sure to apply them to the entire knowledge base.
Step 5. Connect channels
Go to the Channels tab to add chat widgets, messengers, social networks, and other interfaces through which your customers and employees can ask questions to the knowledge base.
