To upload data as files, go to the Sources section. If you selected Upload files manually when creating a project, you are redirected to the section automatically.

What data types can be uploaded​

File requirements​

Currently, you can upload files to Tovie Data Agent if they meet the requirements:

  • Accepted formats: PDF, DOCX, TXT, XML, JSON, YAML, MD, MDX, HTML.
  • Size of one file: up to 25 MB.
  • Maximum number: 100 files.

💡 Tips for uploading​

  • Check that the files do not contain confidential information. All uploaded data will be available for indexing and use. Your customers or employees will be able to access them when they ask questions to the knowledge base.
  • Use text files where the text is recognisable to the system. For example, scanned documents are not always recognised well. This may affect the indexing and the quality of answers to users of your knowledge base.

In addition to files, you can download data from Confluence.

After loading the data, the knowledge base needs to be indexed.
